Delete my account
Last updated 17 September 2026
You can delete your Marii Cards account and the personal data in it at any time, from the app or by asking us. Marii Cards is operated by Zeevio Technologies. This page says how, what goes, and what stays.
In the app
- Open Marii Cards and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Request my data be deleted, then confirm with Delete my data.
It happens straight away. You are signed out, and the phone number can no longer be used to sign in to that account.
Without the app
Email hello@zeevio.co.zw from any address, or call or message +263 78 295 8724, and give the phone number your shops know you by. We will send a code to that number to check it is yours, and complete the deletion within 30 days. You can also ask at any shop that holds credit for you and they will pass the request to us.
If a shop still holds credit for you
An account with credit on it cannot be deleted from the app, because deleting it gives up that money. Spend the credit first, or tell us in your email that you are giving it up and we will delete the account anyway.
What is deleted
- Your phone number, name and birthday.
- Every sign-in session, sign-in code and sign-in link.
- Your card PIN, and the link between you and any Marii card.
- The notification token for your phone.
- Your sharing choices, and every permission you gave a shop to send you offers.
- The usage and crash records tied to your account, within 30 days.
What is kept
The record of change added and credit spent is kept, with nothing in it that identifies you: no phone number, no name. Shops need it for their own accounting and we need it for financial audit. The record that a shop asked for permission to send offers, and what the answer was, is kept the same way. These are held for as long as the law requires financial records to be held.
Deleting some data without deleting the account
You can remove your name, stop a shop seeing your details, withdraw permission for offers, or have your birthday and usage records removed, and keep your account and credit. The steps are on Delete my data.
